Phillips Hardy Inc. considers no phase of operation or administration to be of greater importance than to provide a safe workplace for our employees, and so we have developed and implemented a mandatory Safety Program. To assure that our commitment to safety is fulfilled, we have a designated safety officer.
We utilize periodic “Toolbox Talks” on our various job sites as an avenue to remind employees of proper safety procedures, discuss safety issues specific to the job site they’re working on, and to share good practice tips amongst the crew and to address any safety concerns. In addition, the foreman and superintendents meet annually with the company owners and office staff at which time, our insurance providers discuss safety topics and review best practice tips with our employees. Finally, we work with our various project owners to ensure that the specific safety requirements specified within the contract are adhered to within each jobsite as well as to comply with OSHA guidelines on all jobsites.
Success on the job site and employee morale are all dependent on emphasizing and instituting a safe workplace.
