The goal of the Route 470 Project in Jackson County Missouri was to improve 15 bridges in the metro area of Kansas City. At Phillips Hardy, our philosophy is to plan accordingly at all times. During project planning, Jason Stastny, used a value engineering approach to identify new ways to construct the bridges in order to increase lifespans while decreasing lifecycle costs.
