Heavy Equipment Mechanic

What we expect:

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance ensuring functionality of equipment.
Maintain accurate record of equipment performance logs.
Diagnose and repair issues necessary to promote functionality of associated equipment.
Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy equipment vehicles.
Replace or repair malfunctioning parts as needed and within budget associate with equipment.
Adhere to compliance and safety procedures.

What we need:

Proven successful experience as heavy equipment mechanic.
Proven successful experience with mechanical failure diagnostics.
Class B CDL license required.
Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
Ability to problem solve and execute quickly.

Construction Project Manager

 Assists with hiring, training, and development of job site team ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to be successful. Includes coaching, motivating, and empowering all team members and co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assigned tasks and duties.

– Responsible for overall performance of job site team, including, but not limited to, coaching, discipline and termination as outlined in company policies and procedures.

– Work with the project manager to determine the method and sequencing of the project. Plans, directs, coordinates, and budgets activities to ensure work is completed accurately, within budget and on-schedule.

– Manages changes in project priority based on resource availability, identify extra work or change of conditions and report to project manager/project engineer.

– Weekly communication with general superintendent regarding job specific needs including workforce and equipment requirements.

-Schedule and monitor subcontractor work to ensure work is complete per subcontractor agreement.

– Maintain a safe working environment as outlined by OSHA and Phillips Hardy Safety Manual. Be proactive by identifying potential workplace hazards and taking corrective action when necessary.

– Provides timely and accurate documentation for reporting safety issues, equipment damage and workplace injuries, according to Phillips Hardy policies and procedures.

– Ensure quality control and safety policies on all aspects of the project is communicated and followed by all team members.

– Ensure invoices and delivery receipts are collected, properly coded, uploaded to company approved software, and submitted to field engineers.

    Project Engineer
