At the 2018 Associated General Contractors of Missouri & Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) CO-OP Meeting, Phillips Hardy Inc. was presented with a Value Engineering Award in recognition and appreciation for delivering the best value to the taxpayers of Missouri through innovation and cost savings.  The award recognizes our innovative work on the MoDOT I-470 Project in the metro area of Kansas City which included construction work on 19 bridges across 15 miles of I-470 from Blue Ridge Blvd. to I-70.  Over $1 million in savings were achieved through the submission and approval of 2 value engineering proposals.  Phillips Hardy Project Manager, Jason Stastny accepted the award from MoDOT’s State Construction and Materials Engineer, Dave Ahlvers.

The Phillips Hardy team was honored to receive this recognition and the opportunity partner with MoDOT on this important project.  It illustrates how our team delivers projects with planning, purpose and promise.  We are the right mix of expert people using innovative practices, who are skilled at uniting and balancing all of the complicated facets of construction; we are outcome-based, staying focused on budgets and deadlines, using our knowledge for the customer’s benefit; and we deliver on our promise that through diligent planning and quality workmanship, confidence is created in a job well done.
